Mission accomplished

Unlike the other idiot's remark, mine is credible and real. But then, my ambitions were more realistic.

I had promised Marie's seven year-old a tree house by the time he comes down for the summer. I think he expected some kind of Xanadu, but I am neither Coleridge nor Newton, although they were both in my mind building this, the Mathematical Bridge especially. As in, “this is definitely nothing like the…”

What you can't see is a rope ladder on the other side that only Indiana Jones or a seven year-old boy could ascend with impunity.

The tree was not harmed. Construction time: a little under three hours, swearing included.

My son would kill for a tree house like this... but as we don't have any big trees in our garden he will have to keep on dreaming... this is a very lucky little boy! Well done you!
