“To be pregnant is to be vitally alive, thoroughly woman, and distressingly inhabited. Soul and spirit are stretched making pregnancy a time of transition, growth, and profound beginnings.”

– Anne Christian Buchanan

Having the opportunity to shoot this lovely family months before a new member of this little circle is about to arrive and it was just a joy and thrill at the same time being with them. Seeing the way family interacts with one another, showing signs of love and compassion that you only get to see is one of the things that i love when shooting families. Letting you in even just for a few hours makes you feel the love and care they have for one another. Thank you so much Han Gaisano and Oliver Gan for letting me do a photoshoot with you guys!

For this shoot, we did a contrast on both softening the lines and showing the glow of pregnancy as well as doing silhouette shots to enhance the curves and shape of the mother.
