New York: Day 1
After narrowly making the bus to Dublin at 6am, the rest of the journey to New York was fairly pleasant and straightforward.
US Preclearance meant I didn't have to go through the infamous emigration and customs in America, but unfortunately Polly did and so it was a near 3 hour wait for her in JFK Terminal 4.
When we were finally reunited we navigated our way to Jefferson Street station and waited outside in the 30 ° heat and humidity for Caroline.
Finally all reunited we freshened up and headed out for dinner! Pizza and a glass of wine at a local place in Bushwick, Brooklyn was perfect. We forced ourselves to stay up late and eventually passed out in Caroline's (very hot) bed.
