It was a Saturday so Caroline was being our tour guide for the day. We got up early to queue for discount tickets (slight setback having to go back inside to get changed as it was a lot colder than we expected) to Miss Siagon on Broadway. Polly was overjoyed that we got really good seats in the stalls for 50% off. The maintee was at 2pm so we had a few hours to kill. Headed uptown to The Smith for brunch and joined the masses for this American craze. Caroline and I had mimosas and we ate so much food.
We then took a dander round the concert hall area over the road where the nice fountain was (got a lot of pics there).
Stuart, Michael, Declan, Keogh and Aitken left this morning and were on route to New York all day. Miss Siagon was a great show, incredible ending and 'The Engineer' character was amazing. Polly was sad that the understudy was on instead of the main girl but apart from that it was brilliant.
After the show we headed back to Brooklyn and went shopping for dinner stuff. Caroline made us pesto salad with stuffed pasta while we got ready to go into town for drinks and meet the boys.
We went in at around 8pm and headed downtown to The Malt House, stopped at Washington Square Park on the way which had a great monument and fountain. I was nervous as I was the bridge between the two groups but after one or two drinks veryone was getting on really well (expect for Aitken who doesn't drink and insisted on sleeping with his head on the table). It was a shame the boys were so tired and jet lagged from travelling (and stayed on Staten Island so had a long journey back) or we would have stayed out a lot longer. It was great to see Stuart again.
The girls and I stayed for another round and then called it a night, stopping for a slice of Artichoke Pizza on the way back.
