Sunday was a bit of a slow start after last night, but still slightly jet lagged so awake quite early. We all went to get bagles and smoothies at Owl Juice Pub again (I had the amazing sunset juice) before getting the subway to The West Village. Very posh and upmarket neighbourhood which was very nice to walk through, but we were mostly there to see the Friends' Building. Just the grey/brown one that is shown between scenes on Friends (it was actually shot in LA apparently).

The West Village is also near the beginning of the Highline. An old trainline has been converted into a green space/community area/market/walkway. It was a warm and really nice to do the walk. The highline ends at the very bottom of Manhatten island by the docks and bus station. We then walked all the way up past Times Square (with a Dunkin Donut pitstop), then to Central Station and finally to Central Park. Polly's feet were hurting and so a much needed break was had in the park. Caroline and I had an ice-cream and we sat on the grass sunbathing. The boys met us in the park after they had been on the bus tour most of the day. I enjoyed their banter but don't think Polly was as keen.

We left them to go to the Top of the Rock with plans to meet later for food and/or drinks. The views from the Top of the Rock were just awesome, I could have stayed up there for hours was it not for the high winds and empty stomachs. We went for dinner near Union Square in a place called the Grey Dog, great nachos.

Polly was fading and I think Caroline felt responsible for her so they decided not to come with me to meet the boys which was a shame. Caroline recommended a 'dive bar' called the Alligator Lounge which was a few stops from Jefferson Street on the L train. I had a great time with the boys and was sad having to leave them early as Caroline had to stay up to let me in.

Not a great night, jalapenos did not agree with me.
