Last day in NC.
Beckie and Sarah stayed off today because they didn't need to go in but they had to stay home to study for a while. Niall was working (at home) and Magda also had work. So it was just Hannah and I left to hang out today and naturally we went shopping. We went to the Outlet shops and I wish I had more money because there was so much nice stuff to buy!
After spending as much as we thought was sensible (and finding a bralet that fit!) we picked Sarah up and went out for lunch. The girls thought a proper southern BBQ restuarant was the best option and even though it wasn't the best food I've ever had, it was definitely authentic southern. I had cornbread (sweet almost cake-like) and hush puppies (balls of fried bread?!).
To continue the Southern eating fest we travelled to Waxhaw, a small town near Marvin, to get some proper ice-cream not any of the softserve or really processed stuff. We also spent some time in a vintage shop where Sarah looked for bargain vinyls.
Dinner was Niall's favourite chinese take out which we had a lot later on as we were still full from lunch. Then after watching some TV I had to say my goodbyes, but very quitely as Beckie was already in bed to prepare for her test tomorrow. I took a photo with Hannah as she was wearing an Irish Rugby t-shirt and I had on my UNC Carolina Tar Heels t-shirt that Magda had bought me from Old Navy.
