Last full day in New York.
I can't believe my holiday is nearly over and how quickly it has passed!
Today was a bit of a nothing day, I went to the local supermarket to get things for lunches and a donut from Dunkin for a treat. The weather was rubbish and apart from paying for the subway to go into Manhatten to sit in Central Park in the rain, I couldn't think of anything else to do. Honestly feel like I've crossed so many things off the list it feels like I've really done as much as I could have.
I spent the day watching New Girl and getting ready for tonight - our last dinner together. I went into Times Square an hour before Caroline finished work and did a bit of shopping - got a t-shirt in Hard Rock Cafe and collected a pin for Declan. Caroline took me downtown near Chelsea to a Mexican place called Dos Camingos. White sangria, enough guacamole and tortilla chips to eat a family of 10 and really good tacos.
I would have liked to go out for drinks but being a workday I couldn't ask Caroline to be reckless. Once we got back I helped Libby attempt to hang her curtains with heavy duct cellotape and then Caroline and I watched the rest of Bridget Jones's Baby.

Final night in NYC calls for a bit of a dress up
