Started the morning well with an hour long cycle on the turbo trainer whilst watching Miss Perigrin's Home for Peculiar Children. Then had a quick breakfast and got ready for the day.
We went to Chloe's first to meet baby Jackson Thomas Bell who is utterly adorable. He was quite fussy when I was holding him but managed to settle him down again.
After a while we gave him back and then went shopping at The Abbey Centre to get the rest of my outfit for David's wedding. I got a fasinator and bag in Quiz and then, being with Mum and Dad, got a few wee extra things...seeing as we were in a shopping centre anyway. Also got a nw jacket and gym top from Dad's new favourite shop: Go Outdoors.
We went home and Mum cooked a roast dinner which was class, haven't had one in ages! Then we had peaches, pears and ice cream for dessert.
I got a text to say my flight had been delayed by half an hour, which with my luck recently, didn't even surprise me.
I was on the last flight out of the City Airport which ended up leaving an hour late and then by the time we got to Birmingham I would have had to sprint for the last train. I got an uber instead and after a mild faff at the barrier, I got home quickly and a lot cheaper than the black cab from a few weeks ago.
Fell into bed exhausted and sad to be back in Coventry again after a great weekend at home.
