It was back to normal this morning meeting Erin before the induction then beginning to catch up. The lectures were fine, lots of information and having achieved the BEng already I feel worringly relaxed about the 9 months ahead.
After the induction we got a free slice of pizza from Dominoes who were on campus, then headed to the Sports Fair. I was on the stall for a few hours, signing up plenty of new girls for hockey. As with every year, the place was really hot and sticky and loud. Lydia Clarke (BCS hockey, Sports Captain) walked past but didn't sign up, wondering why.
After the Fair I met with Chloe, Eilidh, Heather and Emilia to talk about trials tomorrow and make sure we were all organised. We had a pint in the Union and got all sorted for tomorrow, actually really looking forward to it. We got over 100 signups but not expecting a lot of them to actually show up.
After trials I headed home to have some dinner and get ready for the first BNO of this uni year. Went to Caleigh's for a few pre drinks with Dunfy and Macca then met everyone else at the Union. It was great to see everyone again and we had a bit of a surprise when the Drag Society sprang into action and gave us a show! I think we were all just stunned into silence. Phili and her mate were they and they were loving it!
We went to Light so early and then I got really bad hiccups and there were so many people and a lot of free vodka that one thing led to another and the night thing I'm sitting outside Greggs at St.Enoch's and it wasn't even 1am yet. Totally mucked the night up but at least I got a few more hours sleep than most people! Just felt bad cause I said I'd meet Stuart on his way out of work but I was passed out by the time he'd finished his shift.
