First combined post ooooohh! So this weekend all mashed into one big day. Neither of us had many things to do and we needed a chill out. Now thinking back (because in all that free time I didn't think to write this) its hard to remember what happened when.
We watched the movie Zodiac (Friday night?) which was really good but so long that I was falling asleep by the end, although I seem to be doing that a lot recently. On Saturday morning, Stuart went for a big walk in the rain to collect his new jacket from the post office depot and then we watched the Celtic match, which was the Cup semi-final against Hibs. Celtic won.
We also went and met Keogh and his new girlfriend Caragh on the Friday night (think we may have ordered dominoes for dinner). We played pool at the union with them and had a couple of drinks. Caragh was really shy to begin with, didn't say much and she wasn't very responsive, but as the night continued she opened up. It was a really fun night and Stuart and I won the pool (although he did a lot more of the potting than I did). Keogh and Caragh made the train just in time and Stuart and I walked home via the shop to get snacks.
On Saturday I went into town to get a dress for the Gala dinner, get my nails done and pick up some things from the flat. After a few attempts I found a really nice green dress in the Quiz section of Debenhams which was on sale. Its a bit tight and I hate that it would have looked better on me in 1st/2nd year but I have to look at the positives - still looking good.
On Saturday night we made faijitas and I submitted an assignment. Stuart played some games with Michael, Harkins and Keogh on PS4 while I did some work and caught up with Jane the Virgin and Riverdale. We may have watched a movie or some TV later on but again, this is blurry in my memory!
Sunday morning I woke up in a bit of a flap, couldn't settle because I was getting worried about the last of my assignments which is due on Wednesday night. So I put on the fourth load of laundry of the weekend, had some breakfast and then headed home. Stuart was dead to the world for most of this lol.
I got some work done and felt much better by dinner time. Lauren was at home for the weekend so the flat was strangely quiet. I skyped Mum and Dad for 2 hours then wacthed some TV before bed. I can't wait for them to come over again next weekend.
Here's a photo from Friday night and one from Saturday when we were just passing the hours doing as little as possible (which I was actually really happy about despite my facial expression).
