We met a really nice couple at breakfast who we chatted to long after breakfast was over and had been cleared away. Then it was time to check out and head home.
We weren't going anywhere near the shops in Derry or Belfast so headed home to unpack/snooze/do last minute errands. Dad and I went to the church to set up wifi for Nancy Morrow's funeral tomorrow (Tim, Johnston and Susan Rocke's Mum). Mum met us on her scooter on the way up the road and she ran me to Four Seasons (in the car) to get last minute things for Christmas.
Next on the agenda was my hair appointment with Becky and by the time I'd got the dye in, sat for a while, got it washed and cut, I ended up being the last person in the place! Love my new hair, so much blonder than before, just need to get used to my own reflection.
In the evening we watched Bancroft and had a relatively early night, tired after all our relaxing of the past few days.
It was Jenny Moates's annual Christmas party tonight and I didn't go, I should have let her know but I didn't and I had a text from Emma after 10pm asking if I would be going. Im really struggling with that group at the minute, unsure whether to let them go as we've grown apart or keep in touch infrequently with a small number of them as I do now. Just feel like I can't be myself with them and that I am the furthest removed from the group.
