On the 4th of April, I went through my day as usual only to get to 10pm and realised I hadn't done my photograph for the day. It was dark outside and I didn't to lug about the studio lights so it was the camera and flashgun. I then hunted for something I could quickly put together to shoot and I remember I had got these gorgeous Hotel Chocolat chocolates as a present so they became my subject. This was photographed with the flashgun on the camera.

I'm not really happy with this shot. I really wish i had given myself more time to photograph something that I am more interested in.

I like the idea - the composition and contrast between he chocolates is cool. I think you're right about the lighting, but this is why we're doing this project - to experiment and see what works. =)

Thank you Jill, that's giving me some hope and not be too hard on myself. I was feeling very deflated over this photograph!
