The Monday before Christmas

The Monday before Christmas should be a time for planning and getting ready. But, for me, it was a busy day as I was having my son and his fiancee round for dinner in the evening.
I decided to cook my first ever turkey (which i then forgot to take a picture of! - but we had a great evening anyway! Masses of food and some really nice wine .

Second set of pictures - taken later in the evening by Claude who had been out earlier.

London Fields

Broadway market looking very sad - not like a Saturday at all!

Sadly not for me I think!

My favourite shop is moving to bright new bigger premises

Back home - gingerbread house making is still much in evidence

More gingerbread things

But in a flash (thanks to Claude)

IN the fridge - my plum, marscapone and amoretti trifles

More secrets of the fridge - starters - smoked salmon and prawns!

Oh dear- me yawning!
