Sam and I have been going out for a whole year! Amazing!
First picture taken in the Olive Tree Restaurant in Loughton (as opposed to Symi - cant have everything it seems!) at the start of a lovely - and rather boozy meal.
Other pictures taken on a walk round Loughton - where I once lived and where I first met Sam - memories!

The next day now Sam baked a lovely onion tart - all heart-shaped!

Walkies - time for house envy!

love the chimneys here

Just everyone has these awful gaets!

Good, traditional church porch

This is St John's Loughton

Interesting plaque - a ‘lopper’ what a great name for a forester.

and some spring daffodils on the way home.

and finally - a couple of very English landscapes - taken on Hillyfields
