We fell in love with Duvall in 1996 when my son bought first home here. It was affordable, friendly, quiet, safe, and an easy commute to his job. Since then it has grown so quickly and has become a very expensive place to live with a nightmare commute. My son wife was born, Duvall. I LOVE coming to see my grandkids.
Duvall. it is one of my most favorite places on earth. Everyone is super nice and it is very family oriented. It is not too far away from bigger cities or areas to do activities. It is quiet and not many things happen. It is a very safe place to live in and visit. Many people have farm animals and there are a lot of pretty places including a hiking trail.
Duvall is the definition of small town living. There are plenty of dining options and parks. Plus, a great sense of community around the yearly parade and festival called Duvall Days which happens the beginning of June. Duvall is a very cute tourist spot. It has lots of restaurants and antique stores, but it takes a while to get into the city and there is not much to do in town. It is a small funky town and there are lots of trees.
Duvall has been one of the safest cities in both Washington and the US for years. The only fluctuation with Duvall is that small businesses downtown struggle, and oftentimes don't survive past two years. Aside from local businesses often switching around, Duvall is a quaint old city, with deep Washington roots and culture. It is a great place to start a family, all while being in close proximity to many large towns and workplaces.
