Fort Worth, Texas Stockyards
Captures taken at the Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering, October 25, 2008
Several Chuck Wagons were set up at the Exchange Building on a beautiful fall day

Hand stamped lady with her husband sitting on a bench watching every one go by. Her jewelry and a brightly colored cell phone, caught my eye.

Balloon Clown Cowboy often found at the Fort Worth Stockyards putting together balloon hats ands animals for kids.

A cowboys weathered face from the many attending the event.

Texas proud shirt, I have got to get one of these!

'Miss Devon' is a perky, red-headed rhythm guitarist/vocalist, noted for her very rhythmic vintage swing style.
Miss Devon Dawson, and her friends specialize in presenting western music shows to Fort Worth area visitors.
On Sunday afternoons you can often find them performing for free in front of the Livestock Exchange Building, located in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District.
They present both vintage and cowboy movies music. Old time cowboy ballads, and western swing –always setting forth that unique style that is associated with American cowboy music.
If you are lucky enough to see her sing and perform you might just become as big of a fan as I am!
