I don't remember if it was 1983 or 1985 but I do remember that morning when I was looking at that masterpiece…
There were the times where digital photography was not available; I shot this pic with my NIKON FM, NIKKOR 28mm/3.5 and the glorious Kodak TRI-X 400.

The Flatiron Building, or Fuller Building as it was originally called, is located at 175 Fifth Avenue in the borough of Manhattan, and is considered to be one of the first skyscrapers ever built. Upon completion in 1902 it was one of the tallest buildings in New York City. The building sits on a triangular island block at 23rd Street, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway, anchoring the south (downtown) end of Madison Square.
The neighborhood around the building is called the Flatiron District after its signature building.

when I was younger my dream was to have a Nikon FM,,,never got it though, I miss dark rooms too, technology improves too fast and we tend to forget too easily. Yesterday I found a post where somebody mentioned Ilford Hp5, now u appear with Kodak TRI-X, I miss all that, now I feel I get photos too easily, it is good but miss the feeling of creating most of the times.
