This was how my trip to Angola started…
A Jump-seat on a fully booked flight from Madrid to Lisbon.
Many, many thanks to the captain.

Our flight plan:
Departure on rwy 36L.

Let's start #2…

And now, it's time for #1

Communications? Set!

B757 EC-JRT, in front of us on the take-off queue

Another Iberia A346 on rwy 36L on it's take-off run.

We were granted permission to move and align after the MD-87 (a Spanair aircraft)

The old MD rotating on 36L

Our turn… and gear up!

While we get airborne I realized that an Air Europa's B737 was also taking off from RWY 36R.

Climbing…

And let's turn finaly to Lisbon, this time heading “Caceres”

Over-head panel overview

Let's prepare our landing: it will be on rwy 03

LPMT overview (despite the glass reflections, sorry)

Boats on the Tagus River

A2 highway and “25 de Abril” bridge. On the other side of the river we have Lisbon city

And… we must get aligned with rwy 03!

On our path to land

LPPT overview (at this time almost empty!)

Final corrections

Elevators were deployed for braking

And here we are, parked on LPPT, after landing on rwy 03.
