Avro Vulcan B.2

This amazing bird was back to skies!
Enjoy it's performance @ Farnborough Air Show 2008.

This entry goes to my friend, and Madeira Spotters mate, Rui Sousa.

A closer look in to the nose of this legend.
Check on the bottom left the access to the cockpit… from the front landing gear!

16mm view while in static display.

Vacating the appron area to start its display.

Great shape!

Wind almost perpendicular to the runway.

Take-off run and the ATC tower @ FAB.

A closer look and you get those 4 engine exhausts expelling some heat, creating a blurry effect.

Rotate… and the jet blast simply blurs all my photo!
On the green background, all those small colourful points are guys attending the Air Show… from the outside!

Delta wing shape.

Another passage.

Nice belly's shape, from this angle.

Completely blurred image by those four engine exhausts but this angle is also impressive… it almost disappears!

Bay opened.

Yeah, take a closer look.

And that's all folks.
On finals to land.

This close-up unveils those speed breaks already deployed.

Time to finish this display. About to land.

Front landing gear is still on the air but the aircraft already landed.
All the people outside the Air show airfield are still there, on the green horizon, enjoying this privileged view.

Fantastic sight, seeing one the 3 mythical "V" Bombers flying (and probably the most amazing one).
