Saturday morning @ Barajas

Saturdays morning are really nice at Barajas, specially if compared with my home airport, because of the heavy traffic.

The odd part of this story is that aircraft are really far…
so, all of these photos were triggered using the following kit:
Canon EOS 400D, Sigma 2x Teleconverter, Sigma 50-500mm, Tripod… and Manual focus.

Quite challenging!
I can assure you :)
Even though these photos are not “perfect”,
this was the first “big” test and another barrier overcome in order to improve the use of this 2x Teleconverter!

Most of them are 1000mm equivalent shots…

Enjoy :)

While the old B747, EC-IAF, slowly dies, the huge A346, EC-JBA, glides gently to land on rwy 33L, as US Airways A333 enters the circuit to stabilize on the rwy 33L ILS.

EC-JBA, Airbus A340-600, about to land.

Having two parallel runways can allow these photos :)
As EC-HQK, A320, glides to rwy 33R, the looong EC-JPU, A340-600, is on it's final to rwy 33L.

The small EC-JDL, A319 lands on rwy 33R.
On the background, the old EC-CFE, Boeing 727-256, rests (AENA titles).

T1 overview… Thai, Continental, US Airways, Delta, Air Europa and more!
All wide-bodies, from B744 to A332 :)

Grande bomba, tens de trazer isso à Madeira, para experimentar umas fotos aos aviões no Gelo...lol
Curioso não se notar o "heat haze"...
