This day, was playing outside with my daughter when I noticed that some paragliders were preparing to take off from Pico da Cruz.
Took my camera and then noticed that one the guys up there was Evandro, a member from Madeira Spotters that also practise paragliding. He's the third from the right, with the white shirt.
So, this post is dedicated to you, Evandro.
After launching, there it goes heading to lower Funchal
Another one…
Lots of wires everywhere…
The sun was setting so, it was just great for these pics.
In the Hotel in front of my place, some tourists were also enjoying the paragliders and then, they noticed me (or my camera…) and started waving hands…
The glidders pics were almost all taken at 500mm. This pic is just for an idea on how far I was from Pico da Cruz.
Just the other week, a spotter was asking me how good is the Bigma at 500mm….I guess it's pretty good, specially with nice lighting and some support, like a tripod, monopod or, in this case, the balcony…
WOW 500mm!!!!
great shots!! :))
