Was looking a some old pics and this plane brought up my atention. I had never uploaded this pic to any aviation site. And its an Airbus A300. A white A300 Hapag-Lloyd!! Madeirean plane spotters do understand my excitement with it…Uploaded this one for all the 3 usual aviation site…let's see if it will be acepted…
That day I also caught this nice smoky landing from PGA. That was one of those airliners that I allways though it had a simple but nice livery but they weren't coming to Madeira…when they finally did, it was great…for some time. Then you get used to, although Fokker 100 aren't usual around here…
Nice memories for this one also, since the times I was a kid…
Now LTU is part of Air Berlin and this livery is almost completly gone as its planes are now painted in Air Berlin livery (I guess there's yet 1 surviver with this livery, which got me surprised…)
Too bad about the backlit but it was a nice take off from this Air Berlin and the A300 from Hapag-Lloyd is in background.
Must admit I hate this livery.
They have a new livery (actually 2…they started painting planes with a new liverie and then decided to change some stuff like the tail logo and fuselage lettering which became the new new livery…lol)
This new new livery sure looks a lot better and the changing from old to new colors it's taking quite a while…probably some years from now i'll miss this liverie but, for now….ugly…
This one also had some nice liverie…used to make some SAS flights…I believe (could be wrong) that they're all now painted in SAS liverie…
awesome shots!!
