Day 295... Full of Water Drops

by Russell Smith October. 23, 2017 586 views

Grey, misty, drizzly, soft light, not a lot of light all things I can use to describe today. Combine that with the word full and I got a leaf or leaves that are full of rain drops . My walk was rather short due to the short break in the drizzle .

This is a simple hedge row not far from my house. I did have one major problem today. Rain and a lack of a weather sealed body. I did take out the older camera which is a Canon Rebel XS . I know that it is not weather sealed but it does handle a bit of rain on the body without dieing . Not knowing if or when or how heavy the rain would be when it started I took out my rain coat for the camera. A simple plastic grocery store bag. It did the trick nicely because it did start to rain prior to me getting back home. So when out and about and the weather might rain throw a grocery store bag that is large enough to fit your camera and lens in it . It is easy to wad it up and stick it in your pocket . Anywho I feel like I am rambling so thank you for spending a few moments with me on my journey.

The red border is what caught my eye. I have walked by the plants dozens of times and not payed it a bit of attention until this day.

Like the composition and the background. The red rim on the leaves I have never seen
