13 Jan Pit Boss.....

Yesterday by the time my wife got off work (off the computer) and dinner was eaten my energy for the day dropped to nada. So seeing as my wife is getting a late start today I am taking advantage of this time.

Yesterday the meal was BBQ. Shredded Pork. This meant low temps (250F/121C) and a long cook. Also meant staying closer to the house to make sure nothing went sideways with the grill. It is a Pellet grill so I do not have to fuss with wood or charcoal and it was perfect because well I was in a lazy mood yesterday too.

I decided to take a few shots of the in-progress cook just to see how it would work in black and white. Well they are not terrible they could be better and well black and white and food can work but it is tricky so this will be an area I concentrate more on later in the year when days (light) are longer.

They turned out quite well - your butt looks good. I keep meaning to take some shots when I smoke (two burner gas chunk unit), but somehow just never never do it. You inspire me!
