Love the lighting. The B&W is marginally better for me. I guess "boom" is related to the German word "baum".

Mono for me! It removes all the complex colours and leaves me with plain light and dark! Thanks for sharing!

While I like the black and white, in #1 the tree in the foreground almost looks b & w, with color in the distant lights. I think I prefer it to #2.

"boom" is Flemmish for tree? Well, I live and learn...

I am torn between the mono and the colour; each has something special. Probably the mono wins for me.
