Strength is born in the deep silence of long-suffering hearts; not amid joy.

Wonderful work again, that first one is special, but I like the blurred background in shot 2, too.

Impressive and worthy of the ultimate compliment: criticism! The first is a fascinating capture. I'm a bit disappointed by the composition, but the DOF is excellently judged.

I think if I were submitted this post, I wouldn't add the second image. I would put it in a different post because it takes away the mystery, the intimacy and the depth in the first.

The second image has a few problems. The DOF isn't exactly accurate. I would darken and add contrast to the background to make your model more "luminous" (thanks BronzeBow for exactly the right word).

However, the sharpening in both is perfect (I always overdo mine) and the concept is very promising.

I hope you don't mind my comments. It's because your photography is of a very high standard that I feel I can offer criticism in what I hope is understood as a very constructive way.
