Power of nature is strong, lots of trees fallen in storm here this winter
Great shots!
Winds are a dramatic force! We, too, had trees fall from high winds! The clean up is no picnic! Plus we lost beautiful, mature trees!
You captured this series well!
Wow....very dramatic way to go if you're a tree....I suppose. So interesting....
They gave you some beautiful natural sculptures though .
Love the 2nd looks like a bird's beak carrying a twig to make a new nest . Of course other's will intepretate it differently.
Wonderful shots. #2 really has something about it. I've favourited the shot.
Here are the same. Dramatic pictures.
Oh Sadhya.... my beloved biking trails are littered with smash, uprooted, cracked, etc trees.... still more are falling everyday as the soil thaws... As I bike the trails I am always waiting and watching for trees to fall...
Sad for the tree! #2 looks like a dinosaur devouring the tree!
A sculpture made by nature. Great find.
It is always very sad when his happens, we lost quite a few big oaks in Woburn recently with the wet weather and the high winds...
Incredible natural sculpture by pure accident!
They were cruel winds this Winter........................
Fantastic captures !
The scenes give an idea about the impact of the storm.... nice captures, Sadhya!
Your tree certainly looks mortally wounded, however nature has it's own way to recovery.
Maybe you can post again next Spring so we can see if there is any sign of re growth.
Mmmmm, what a drama...
