To honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks nearly 3,000 flags cover the field. The Healing Fields are organized into three main sections to honor the victims from the World Trade Center's Twin Towers, the Pentagon and the flights. Each flag has a tag with the name, age and brief biography of the victim.
