Feb. 27: Glow Inside; High Key Flower; Low Key Flower; Blue And Orange

I have terrible luck with gerbera daisies–they never have a very long vase life for me for some reason. The orange gerbera in the flower bouquet I got for myself on Friday is already drooping.
For some reason it inspired me to break out a little LED flashlight and play with light on and through the petals of the flower at various times through the day. I realize that four pictures of the same wilting flower is probably much of a muchness but I really like all of these. The last one reminds me of the colors in one of my favorite paintings–“Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose” by John Singer Sargent.
