1979 Wichita Falls Tornado

The Wichita Falls Tornado was part of the 1979 Red River Valley Tornado Outbreak. I didn't realize they named tornados. It killed 54 people.

This is Lake Wichita, about a mile from my house.

As the tornado passed by Wichita Falls the main tornado had 5 small tornados circling around it.
