Today was my first full day in Raleigh, after Skybus had deposited me in Greensboro the night before.
Since I was still on Pacific Time…and have a tendency to stay up late…my friend let me sleep in.
Once I was finally up and ready, we headed downtown and spent most of the day there.
This picture was taken behind the North Carolina Capitol Building…in front of a statue depicting the three U.S. Presidents that came out of North Carolina.
I had just anticipated taking a picture of my traveling gnome, Sid…but I managed to get a couple newlyweds in the shot as well! =)
