A New Frontier

Anyone who's been to Vegas knows its a town that is constantly changing. The Frontier Hotel and Casino was one of the last “old school” hold outs on the Strip. Sitting next door to the Stardust, these two casinos always provided good photographic opportunities for me. The marquee of The Frontier was this huge old school neon sign. This picture is the sign reflecting on one of the smaller Frontier buildings. Unfortunately they closed and demolished the Frontier in 2007. The sign actually stayed put until December 2008. Read more about the Frontier HERE [en.wikipedia.org]. You can also see a pretty cool video of it imploding HERE [youtube.com]. This photo was taken 9/4/06. I just realized I did 2 days in a row of Vegas posts, and already have 4 Vegas posts [photoblog.com] after doing the blog for only 2 weeks! I also have some neon videos on my Youtube Channel [youtube.com]
