Juke Box Series #1

The Juke Box [en.wikipedia.org] is such an American icon. Though they were most popular in the 1950's and 60's, I still remember them being everywhere when I was a kid in the 80's. EVERY pizza place had one. Whenever we'd go to Pizza Hut, I'd always get $1 for the Juke Box. Then the 90's came and CD Juke Boxes started popping up here and there… but they were more expensive, like 50 cents a song.. screw that! Then you didn't see a lot of them for a few years.. but then the internet based ones started popping up that had thousands of songs. Lately I find myself coming across original and reproduction Wurlitzers [en.wikipedia.org] here and there, and I always try to get a picture of them. Mexican Restaurants and bowling alleys are good for finding the '80s style boxes.. not as cool as the Wurlitzers, but special in their own right. So this is part 1.. It was taken 6/4/10 in this really cool store Dicks 5 and Dime [dicksoldtime5and10.com] in Branson, MO. I will be posting more Jukes in the future. Thanks for looking. I bet THIS SONG [youtube.com] got some Juke play in its day.
