Algemacs was a Googie [] style diner built in 1937. It was located at 3673 San Fernando Blvd, Glendale, CA. It closed in 2006 and was gutted in 2008. Part of it was retained as a community center for a new condo project. You can see somewhat current pics of it HERE []. This photo was taken 12/23/06. I recently came across this very cool Blog devoted to old diners. Its called the Diner Hotline Weblog []. Check it out!
