Further to my post introducing this beautiful forest, I thought I'd add some nature images from our walks there, this time concentrating on the fungi we've spotted.
one of the problems with too many people today is, they're glued to their mobile phones, life is going to pass them by and they'll wonder where it went.
Carrying a camera has changed my view of everything around me and that has rubbed off on my lovely partner, to the extent that we are now both constantly scanning our surroundings. Amazing what you see, once you start looking, isn't it?
Sometimes you really have to look, to see them but now and again, they present themselves right in front of you. This uprooted tree by the path had become a massive home to this lot.
I have tried looking up each one we've found but, there are SO many!
This root gave me So many opportunities for photos, I had to go back the next day but, they only seem to last 24 hours or so.
Sorry, see what I mean, I have a LOT of shots, I won't share all here :) but, there ARE others around. These were stunning, on a log, again, right next to the path.
These little black ones were harder to spot, hidden amongst ivy on a dying tree branch.
There were quite a few more but, maybe another time?
