That favourite walk

And a favourite moment, image

Only last weekend I was walking on Penrhos Cutting, the old railway line next to my favourite place, Penrhos yard. I looked back down the trail and remembered a time, a walk and a photograph I grabbed.

This evening I finished work, accidentally poured a drink and started the Mac. I have abandoned FB for the most part but, do visit from time to time, to keep in. touch with old buddies etc. and there it was!

September 22nd 2014. Really?

Resolution isn't great, it has been recovered from FB after all but, I don't think I'll ever forget the moment.

Always look behind you

What a beautiful place to walk.  3 years ago we left the rat race behind to retire in a less populated area, not too far from the kids.  We chose a place which also has an abandoned railway line, not quite as pretty as yours but still a quiet place to walk and the dogs and I love it.  In warmer months we just have to watch for snakes, they sun themselves on the warm gravel, but if you watch for them you won't step on them and suffer.  I'll share some photos of the trail soon.

That shift in wants and needs that seems to come with age and life experience,  I think? We've been trying to move more rural but this latest pestilence has ruined that, everyone is doing the same 😳

Accidentally poured a drink???  Seriously??? Just kidding.  All beautiful.  How close to Cardiff are you? I only visited Salisbury and Cardiff in Wales.
