Since I didn't have a better idea (and I did promise to be more cheerful today), I thought I'd post a few more of my photos of Niagara Falls. These were all taken last summer over 4th of July weekend.

View past the American Falls looking toward the Horseshoe Falls.

Water pouring over the American Falls. It surprises people when they realize the water flowing over the Falls is only a few feet deep. Half or more is diverted by a hydroelectric plant upstream.

And here's the river gorge below the Falls. Water in this channel is estimated to be 35 feet deep, and flowing at 22 miles per hour (35 KM).

      Well it's a definite.. I'm going to the Falls in August! Road trip with my friends.. so this pictures definitely put me the mood to get there fast!! where did you get the pictures from above??

      This is a place I have always wanted to see and hope to get to one day. These are beautiful, thanks for sharing them!
