An insignificant flower

About this time of year our garden becomes a mass of small, white, downward facing flowers. The snowdrops (Galanthus or 'milk flowers') have arrived - signalling the start of another growing season. Each year they spread and multiply, poking their whitecapped heads through the dark soil and now soggy, autumn leaves encroaching into the lawn, totally oblivious to the neatness we try to create.
