18th August - A brisk walk among the fine sand of the north sea coast, a castle, islands and a couple of lighthouses in the north sea..... and a little bit of history remembered. The Longstone light house was home to Grace Darling the lighthouse keepers daughter. She became famous after rescuing -in tempestuous seas and a row boat- nine survivors of the stricken 'Farfarshire' from Dundee.
