The penultimate spectral colour

I think you will find today and tomorrow's postings of violet and purple flowers to be the most dramatic. There is a richness f colour as well as an interesting diversity of flower form. I have tried to include more unusual species.

1. Digitalis purpurea

2. Buddleia sp.

3. Iris

4. Anacampseris pyramidalis

5. Polygala myrtiflora var grandifolia

6. Iris

7. Hardenbergia violacea

8. Unknown

9. Pelargonium cucullatum

10. Geranium

11. Erodium manescaui

12. Melaleuca thymifolia

13. Dolichos sp.

14. Geranium PATRICIA

I'll echo the others: these are fantastic shots! I enjoyed the theme and seeing so many flowers that I have never seen before.
