Experiments with pictures in my bedroom

A bedroom can mean many different things to many people. Those who have them probably rarely think about them much. I am blessed to have a bedroom. Billions of people around the globe do not.

This new experimental series arose a, from watching a film where thousands of people were sleeping rough on the streets, and b, thinking about buying photoshop. The former led me to thinking about my bed and bedroom and observing it properly for the first time. The latter led me to consider whether I really needed digital enhancement just yet and whether I can still improve the raw digital image itself.

What is the essence of my bedroom? Would its reflected images tell me something about myself?

I share these first attempts with you.

Like the others said, very creative. I really enjoyed the photo of you in your bedroom. Kind of a then and now shot. The stairs are dreamy.

I would say a black and white picture, coloured as it was done
in the 50th ? Beautiful outfit, lovely happy eyes and smile, happy
childhood from what you chose to show.
I would have said the child is haunting the place but no, the child
has grown up into beauty, simplicity, warmth, comfort, light and
subtlety. I feel peace. The artist is not far ! (Hope I understood the question !..)

Of you as a child I prefer #3 - #5 is very interesting and a beauty.
