Today and tomorrow I am posting composite pictures of some 36 species of Aspalathus (Tribe Crotalarieae, Fabaceae) found in the Hex River and Breed River valleys and lower catchments. If you come across any species of Aspalathus not included here please contact me as I am aiming to develop an illustrated guide to the legumes of this region. For an earlier posting of Aspalathus plates see the entry for the Vergelegen Wine Estate [photoblog.com].
