This weekend was the Belgian Beer Festival here in Baltimore (specifically at Max's on Broadway). It's one of my all time favorite events to go to. They get over 150 different Belgian beers, many of which you can't get anywhere else in the US. It's an all around good time.
This is the upstairs of the bar around none when we got there. We were lucky enough to find a small corner without people to claim as our own.
This is my brother Joel and a very drunk girl we met while there. Her and her friend could hardly stand anymore.
One of my favorite beers of the night Duvel Triple Hop. It was a fantastic tasting beer. Light, crisp, and just the right amount of hops to give it a bitter bite. It hits the pallet with your typical Belgian beer taste of spice, coriander, and yeast, but finishes with a big hoppy bitter taste. Great stuff
Here is the view from where we sat.
This is my friend and new room mate Rachael. There was about 5 or six of us total that went.
