I finally got everything setup for my turntable today. As I type this I'm listening to Ben Harper on vinyl. There really is something special about the way vinyl on a good table with a good. There's a much warmer sound and clarity to the record that you just don't get with a CD. It's really hard to describe if you've never heard it.

Here she is in all of her glory. It's an old JVC QL-Y66F. It's a great turntable and I've got an Ortofon OM10 cartridge/stylus on there. It sounds fantastic.

My record collection so far - it's a hodgpodge mix. From left to right: Buddy Guy - Living Proof, Elton John - Greatest Hits, The Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra - Tchaikovsky: Symphony No.4 (my favorite of his symphonies), Philharmonia Orchestra - Tchaikovsky: Symphony No.2, Ben Harper - Life Line.
