6th Attempt/Session with dSLR.
Snap shot city! First was taken by my 8 year old daughter. We headed to the fields yesterday to take a crack at some tree lines. I failed but she got this portrait of my making a dogs dinner of things. Maybe I should give the SLR to Mayah? :)
The rest were taken in the garden this evening. I only had a couple of minutes and just played around with composition.
What did I learn? This photography lark is difficult and close up shots without a macro lense really, really doesn't work. Oh, that and I need a hair cut and a shave.
PROJECT:
Take a newbie (me) that has no idea how to take photographs. Next, grab an entry level Nikon d3100 with 18-55VR stock lens and set both to full manual. Then, try to take photographs and have the end result resemble what was in my mind when I clicked the button.
