On the menu tonight…
Beef sausages with tomato sauce (c/- Masterfoods)
Homemade beetroot (c/- Dad)
Potato salad in homemade mayonnaise
Coleslaw in homemade mayonnaise (mayonnaise c/- of my sister)
I did the rest.

Alas,I forgot to include a snap of the fire.

Photography: I put the camera on a tripod. I can't quite remember what I did for exposure. I took a guess. It might be about one second. It was somewhat random as I am jumping ahead of my knowhow. The lighting is an overhead spotlight dangling from a branch.


On the way…that's me in the foreground. Left blocking out the view of Dad.


Well after. That's me at the other end suitably located in the dark.

      ShangriLa, the plate is just for frying things like eggs and onions - not grilling. (I hate how replies to posts get sent directly to the guest book.) Anyway - I like my steak, sausage, burgers, fish, chicken, etc, grilled. Yumm yumm. Now I can't wait for the warm weather to get here.

      I love BBQs. I've had to train my husband not to use the plate for anything but fried eggs.

      Oh god yes we do love our beetroot. Usually its canned. And I especially love it in hamburgers when I used to eat them. Beetroot was probably missed on that post a week or so ago about food you got used to in another country.
