This was taken at one of the most awkward campsite on my cycling trip to Darwin. I pitched my tent amongst long grass because there was no clearing. The water in the creek was hardly flowing and there was a scum on the surface and algae growing. There was just trickle enough for me to believe that the water was safe for drinking. I made my kitchen on a tiny patch of dry stones in the creek bed. I had to make my fire there instead of near my tent, so as not to start a bushfire. I wouldn't call it hardship. I enjoy the rigours of camping and awkward locations like this accentuate the ease of others.
