Nepal Day 2: Mt. Everest Tour

Now, any major tour will not be easy. After our tour was cancelled the first day due to weather, my travel mates and I gathered ourselves and went back a final time. This was the ONLY time we could take the trip prior to embarking on our trekking adventure. The six hour wait was worth it. Enjoy the views!

This is the airline (below) that flew us... our original airline on Day 2 cancelled out flight too!! Lord help me. Luckily a passenger on that flight flipped a big on because four flights from other airlines went out that morning to see Everest. So Simirk was the great savior of this 16 person group day - none of us had another opportunity to see the mountain, and they honored that. :)

Langtang Valley - the following day I began my trek with an eight hour bus ride to Shyabrubensi (Day 3 blog post)

This time came... each person approached the cockpit in an orderly fashion to view Mt. Everest and take photos.

Yes that is someone up in the cockpit taking pictures... we all had an opportunity to see the Himalayas from the captains view. :)

The Captain was the coolest. I came with my iphone AND camera. He took pictures with my phone. He was so nice. :)
