Nepal Day 4: Shyabrubensi - Lama Hotel

For six hours we walked - up...the...hill. When they told us in our pre-briefing that the first two days were "up up", they weren't kidding. There is uphill and then there's climbing half the mountain. loll Either way, it was a challenge I needed on this trip and it was wonderful and as a group we held a lot of energy support and good spirits along the way. Yes, bees nests. The coolest thing. One of our fellow travelers read an article that stated these hives (and those in the area) are harvested once a year. The honey is said to have medicinal properties.

This white rabbit... after this pic I was too tired to take any other pictures and we still walked for another 2-3 hours. By the time we got to out tea house it was past dusk. We spent the night and kept walking... another six hours to Langtang village.
