Nepal Day 5: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village

Our trek began in the remaining vegetation of the rainforest. As we ascended to the next level of 3,430 meters (oh I'm sorry, meant to say "up...up... and more up..."), we entered dry range. Here, we saw areas devastated by the 2015 earthquake (which was also very visible in Kathmandu). The tenacity of the villagers is amazing as all they could do, when everything was gone, was move up a ways and rebuild. Langtang itself is absolutely spectacular, truly breathtaking. Enjoy!

These were important along the way... just like finding toilet paper for sale. I spent 5 dollars total on two rolls of toilet paper. Why? Thanks to a cold, I ran out of tissues and toilet paper I brought from the U.S.

Langtang Village... the resettlement.

Langtang Village... the resettlement.

Langtang!

Evening meal along with all my cold medicine in that pill box. :)
